Successful Green Recovery Challenge bid of £220,000

We are delighted to be able to announce that we have been successful in our bid to the Green Recovery Challenge. Working closely with The National Trust, they have helped us to apply for the grant for £220,000 over the next two years.
This will provide much needed work for local fencing contractors, tree nurseries, agricultural merchants and local workforce as we look to plant nearly 5 km of new hedgerows and to create or improve over 400 acres of wooded parkland . The number of trees planted over the next 2 years will be over 35,000
