native wildflower meadow benefiting from rotational grazing, Penruddock

Rotational Grazing Penruddock

Several farmers in our area are moving to a rotational or “mob” style of grazing. Essentially this style of gazing gives the land longer rest periods with no grazing. The benefits are reduced fertiliser costs, improved grass growth due to stronger roots, better water infiltration into the ground and it gives wildflowers the opportunity to grow and seed
