Tree planting, Grisedale valley
Large scale flood plain tree planting in Grisedale valley. Over time the trees will help to slow water upstream in the valley and create excellent wildlife habitats.
This project was funded through higher tier stewardship agreement, the Woodland Trust and the local flood action group. Cost £8,000.
